I think we see these 2 shadows clearly playing out in the world.

Shadow is the Alarm Clock

Remember that this is mass awakening of humanity like the world has never seen before. It's like when we're having nice dreams we tend to stay sound asleep. But when our dream turns into a nightmare we bolt awake. So things may get darker and more uncomfortable out in the world for that alarm clock to go off.

Pluto Retrograde tells us to take our power back.
