Shadow of Fantasy
The 41st hexagram is the shadow of Fantasy and the gifts of Anticipation and Emanation.
This is all about manifesting your Soul's desires. The typical Ego desires for fame, wealth, adoration or the perfect body belong to the shadow of Fantasy.
Jim Carrey famously said, “I think everybody should get rich and famous and do everything they ever dreamed of so they can see that it's not the answer.”
The shadow of Fantasy, has you desiring the wrong things and also locks you into the belief that you need not do anything to achieve your desire. Basically you stay locked in the mind.
Desire and the Gift of Anticipation
We are Spiritual Beings having human experiences. Our desire nature is what drives us to have human experiences.
Take note of what your Soul is desiring for you this year? What just want go away no matter how many times you talk yourself out of it? What haunts you even when you should be fulfilled. If I could have any experience in the world it would be _______________?
Chances are that is your Soul Desire. And your Soul wants you to have that experience in this lifetime. And then you start taking inspired action towards the fulfillment of your desire. Take note - you will encounter your deepest fears - it's part of your Soul's healing.
This gift of anticipation is the belief that the essence of it will manifest for you.
