Full Moon in the Gate of Restraint - Jupiter/Saturn Reset

It's the last full moon of 2020! The moon is in the 52nd gate which is connected to the 2020 New Years chart. This means there is a culmination point to the lessons of the 52nd gate - the gate of restraint!
Jupiter just moved around the wheel to the 41st gate which signifies the new. It takes Jupiter 11 years to move through all of the 64 gates. Saturn will soon be joining Jupiter in the 41st gate on Jan 4, 2021. The last time Saturn was in the 41st was in 1991.

Saturn Jupiter Conjunction - the Mutation of the Human Species

December 21, 2020 not only ushers in the Winter Solstice (in the Northern Hemisphere) but there is also a rare astrological event!
It's a Saturn Jupiter conjunction in the sign of Aquarius. The last time these 2 planets were this close was about 800 years ago in 1226. Remember that Saturn, Pluto and Jupiter are together in the Shadow of Psychosis for 6 days. This means all those people (politicians,teachers, celebrities) we have put on pedestals are falling down so expect more dark shadows and secrets to lift.
This Full Moon is illuminating our addictions which often passed down from our ancestors. Addictions can be to drugs, alcohol, sex, gambling or shopping.
The shadow of addiction is far more subtle as it comes from the mind. It's our habitual thinking and the mind's tendency to favor particular thought forms.
For example, you may be addicted to negative thinking or toxic positive thinking. You may be addicted to people pleasing - overly focused on other people at the expense of yourself.
You may be addicted to surface thinking and quick to believe what others tell you without question.

There are 3 Ways that Humans attempt to Cope in the Face of Great Change
1. Denial - put our head in the sand and deny that anything is happening. Indulge in addictions in order to escape.
2. Cling to the past. Longing for the good old days when life was good. Holding on to an old identity in order to resist our evolution.
3. Fantasize About the Future. This is hoping that a Saviour will come and save us from our misery.
Maybe you can relate to one coping mechanism more than the others? Or do you move from one to the other depending on the day?
It's ok, we are human and these are natural ways to cope with this transition into the Aquarian Age. We are doing our best to navigate through these uncharted territories.
